St. Albert’s offers travel grade school basketball for boys and girls in grades 5 thru 8. We offer varsity for grades 7-8 and junior varsity for grades 5-6. Both the Varsity and JV programs enter one team in the Region League (“A” league) for both boys and girls. The Region teams compete for the Region 11 title. The Varsity winners and two runner-ups are invited to play in the Archdiocesan tournament to compete for the Archdiocesan title.

We also offer the opportunity for players to participate in the Parish League (“B” league), provided that there are enough registrations to field a Parish team. The Parish leagues are still competitive but are more participatory than the Region Leagues. Overall, there are many opportunities for kids to play travel basketball at St. Albert’s.

Our seasons for all leagues can begin as early as December 1st. Playoffs for the Region Leagues normally start in very early February with Parish tournaments in February.

We are very fortunate to have one of the best gyms in the region. Because our outstanding intramural program creates interest in basketball at a young age, we have a very large travel basketball program. Our gym space allows us to field a large number of teams.
