Swimming
St. Albert the Great CYO offers a competitive swimming program for parish boys and girls ages 4 to 14. The team competes in the Catholic Youth Swim League, and has won the league championship for the past 20 years! CYSL League rules require all swimmers to be St. Albert’s parishioners OR attend the parish school.
All swimmers are encouraged to join the program. No experience is necessary.
The swim season generally runs from October through mid-February. Practices are held at Abington High School on Tuesdays and Thursdays are tentatively as follows:
Tuesdays 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Thursdays 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Our team is primarily run through email, this is a vital component for a team of our size. Swim families are encouraged to check your email frequently.
Absences / Sign-Out of Meet
In order to excuse your child from any meet, please do so by the Friday prior to the meet by 5:00PM.
